  1. Phil, I try to keep up with every blog as my Google alerts let me know of, lol. If I'm too impatient, though, I try finding them on my own. It's great reading about your own experience and it makes us appreciate more what the contestants have to go through.

  2. Hey Phil and Family,
Just wanted to say thanks for the great word not to mention the great music you gave at our church Sunday. Your encouragement was much needed at this time. If you ever need anything, I think I can speak for most if not all of our church family that you can count on us. Blessing to you Bro. and keep up the great Kingdom Work! Lori C. ( Pathways )

  3. Phil, loved your entry on the San Francisco auditions. I feel that you were really right on with your opinions on the amount of really talented contestants that were sent through. I was glad to also see your response to the one person who felt you lacked some "perceptive critiques." Someone at your LA Times blog left a similar comment. We, your phans, do not know you to be the kind to be bashing, like so many others do. Keep it up, because I know that I am one of quite a few who enjoy seeing "you" through your writing.:-)

  5. Phil, I am enjoying the blog and agree with your comments regarding the contestants thus far. I'm glad they are not showing as many bad auditions this year. Louisville did seem to have some very good talent. I also liked the 20 yr old female, I think her name was Alexis. Jacksonville is next week which is my hometown so I hope we represent well. I hope you had a great birthday and you and your family enjoy your visit with Mickey. :)

I've open this up so anyone can comment. Please be respectful and NO profanity. My nieces and nephews along with the kids I work with at church will be reading this!
